River Campground is open seasonally from April 1st to Nov. 1st.
Check in is at 1:00pm and check out is at 11:00am
We require a 24 hr notice for full refunds,(minus the 3.5% processing fee we are charged). If cancelling less than 24 hrs a credit for a future stay can be applied.

Tucked away in the Chattahoochee National Forest, River Campground is a popular camping destination that will provide you with a truly memorable camping experience. We are conveniently located off of Highway 441 in the Historic town of Lakemont, Georgia. River Campground is close to many area attractions such as Tallulah Gorge, rafting the Chattooga River, hiking trails for all levels, boating and beach areas of Lakes Tallulah, Rabun and Burton, Shopping and Dining, and much more. We offer lodging options for everyone, including RV sites, tent sites, Rustic Chalets, and a River Cabin. We have 2 bathhouses and sell firewood on site. We also try to have bluegrass music on Saturday Nights.
You may swim and tube in the river at your own risk.
